Allied has a few EI RW sets big enough for a weissenborn, and the price is right. Do you think that would make a nice instrument? Or would it come out too choked, like the acoustics Gibson currently makes? |

I also wonder about the RW. It would be a nice looking Weis. How about the nicer plywoods? They have the length, I'm just not sure what kind of sound you get? David |

Rance at Lazy River has made one (spruce top) and I believe there are some sound bites there. I don't think I'd try all RW though. |
